A famous bagel shop, that has several branches around the city. We had the BLT bagel with an addition of avocado with an everything bagel, and were trying to decide on a second bagel to share, but we looked for something less conventional so I consulted with the staff at the counter. All right, this was an amazing experience. I got the everything bagel the sausage, egg and cheese and it was all fresh. Since I'm in the Midwest, we don't have bagel shops that make it in store. This was my first one and I was blown away. Why the staff was phenomenal and answered my questions and suggested bagel. I like that atmosphere here. When I'm back in New York City I'll come back here again.
Stopped in on a Sunday morning to an empty restaurant. Workers were busy in the back area and bagels looked great. Person working the registered seemed a little sleepy and definitely didn't have any sense of urgency. I asked what was hot and placed my order for the single bagel as-is. After giving me my change, he slowly looked around, spent a moment interacting with another employee, then slowly made his way to the back and grabbed my bagel and handed it to me.
