Trendy cafe chain offering upscale coffee drinks & pastries, plus beans & brewing equipment.

The outdoor seating area is definitely a big plus (not sure how it is in winter but anyway) as well as the direct entrance to Penn station that allows you to avoid the forever Midtown chaos. A few tables inside and free tap water. I had an excellent iced coffee. The guys behind the counter are chill and very nice.
What stands out at this Bluebottle location is the poor staff training in terms of how to make drinks (lattes specifically). I had one of the worst oat lattes I've had in NYC at this location I'm reviewing from a few months back, but one thing I can guarantee is that I will 100% never return to this particular Bluebottle location, but will to other locations.
Located in 1 Penn Plaza, this is separate in a building near Penn Station, not downstairs. Entry through outside or the lobby. Busy spot - lots of people passing through, and hanging out for discussions. Also some standing and seating room outside the coffee shop which is nice, too, in the building lobby.
