When you’re in Penn Station and need a quick cup of coffee, or a pastry, Blue Bottle isn’t a bad option. They’re situated right in the main atrium of the Moynihan Train Hall, which is super convenient for those commuting via train.
Exquisite coffee is brewed here by some serious artisans. With stiff nearby competition with places such as maman… this is a great alternative to their long line. Prices fall well into NYC expectations, but the baristas are friendlier than foreseen.
Coffee is decent but they are so slow. This is inside the train station so it’s fair to assume that most customers are catching the train. The staff there however seems to be completely oblivious about this and has zero considerations on the fact that people are in a rush and it might be nice for them to be just a little faster. The wait is much longer than expected every single time and this time it was so bad that I had to just give up on the coffee that I paid for and rush to the train…..
