The food here is great, there’s no getting around that but the prices are like going to the stadium. I’ve lived within a block of this place since the opening and would come here once a week if a standard size hot dog wasn’t 9 bucks. There’s no reason 2 hot dogs shouldn’t be $10 bucks all in. Instead I come here maybe 2 times a year. For a neighborhood lacking a lunch spot, this is it but not at these prices. (Order: Hot dog, small thing of potato salad and a Coke Zero = $17 bucks.
Throw your party at Bobbi’s! I can’t say enough good things about this joint — the food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, and JJ is as hospitable of an owner as they come. JJ let us rent the restaurant out and we had a blast. Thank you for an unforgettable night and amazing Chicago staples!
Walked by here a few times and finally had the chance to try their Italian Beef sandwich. I got the Italian Beef with mixed sweet and hot giardiniera and it was fantastic . The guy that took my order was nice as well, along with the food runner. Great service
