This place is great. I stopped by here after a morning in the park. I’m assuming the owner (or someone who really cares about customer service) greeted me at the door, walked me through the items on the menu. The menu is hand written, signaling I know I’m in for a treat. The pasta was handmade, I opted for tagliatelle with their ragu and focaccia. It did not disappoint! The ragu was so tasty, pasta cooked perfectly and the bread was so flavorful. I ate outside, it was perfection.
Is it dramatic to say this may very well be the best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy? Well, call me a thesbian because I’m claiming it. Crucial to the authentic Italian vibe is the casual seating, which, while it may be hard to wait for a seat, it is totally worth it in order to have piles of focaccia and big enamel plates of generous pasta portions brought out to the calm Sackett Street sidewalk in the early evening. Tip: Order at the counter inside first, then grab a bottle of water and silve
Absolutely exceptional! From meal, to beverages, to the tiramisu. Authentic Italian cuisine, and amazing people. 10/10!
