We had a wonderful experience at Frankie’s Spuntino. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and incredibly pleasant. The staff made my mother feel very special on her birthday, which we really appreciated. The wine was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the food was very good. Just a heads-up: the spicy pasta is actually quite spicy! 😂 Overall, a fantastic spot with a warm atmosphere and great hospitality.
Reservation on a Sunday night holiday weekend, day after Valentine’s Day. Service initially slow but overall great experience. Traditional dishes with some wonderful contemporary touches. Had the full antipasto plate, escarole and bean soup, ricotta and honey crostini, cavatelli with sage brown butter and hot sausage, and mafalda with pork suco. Some of the best pasta I’ve had in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The service is outstanding, and the patio vibes are immaculate. Everything here is to die for, but the meatballs with pine nuts and the cavatelli with sausage were truly life-changing. The bread with the freshest EVOO was incredible too.
