My partner and I went here for a Saturday morning brunch as a way to start the day. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate decor with pretty great and attentive service. It can be a bit loud and cramped due to the layout but you do sit pretty close to other patrons. My partner and myself ordered the Rise and Shine breakfast platter, though I got mine with egg whites instead of whole eggs. Dropped in this past Sunday for breakfast/brunch. Picked it out randomly from Google Maps. Had a wonderful meal in a bright, cheerful atmosphere. Service was great. Shown is the Montrealer breakfast sandwich. Deeelicious😁! Glad we stopped in!
We had heard good things about this restaurant but I found it disappointing. My first impression was a strong unpleasant odor that permeated the space. The food was unimpressive. The whipped ricotta appetizer was quite weak - the bread was hard and chewy with a smear of ricotta on the side. The ravioli was tasteless. The best dish by far was the mushroom gnocchi which had excellent flavor (though the gnocchi itself was a bit too soft). For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, which was good but not out
