Casual chain serving cooked-to-order Korean fried chicken, plus other traditional eats.
From Google Maps reviews.
We stopped at this Bon Chon location on 1st Avenue between 21/22 one day as we were going home from shopping in Chinatown. We ordered the mixed medium size chicken combo with coleslaw and split it. It included 6wings and 2 drumsticks. We selected the soy garlic flavor. It was really delicious. Nice and crunchy. My only complaint was that the side of coleslaw was tiny. It should be twice as big. All in all, it was delicious and well worth the money.
The food tasted good, just like at other Bonchon locations. Unfortunately, I found a hair in my food, which completely ruined the meal. This was very disappointing. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to cleanliness.
Went with the 30 piece. It’s Korean BBQ Chicken. Double fried. Fed the whole pool team at Clara’s Gramercy bar. They didn’t have food and allowed us to bring outside food. Lots of skin on those wings. Korean BBq sauce was finger licken good. Fries were delicious. Not too thin but on the thicker side. The 5.99 bag was actually quite large.
