Food was so good! Went early to avoid crowd but also it’s a super small restaurant so best to book in advanced. Fried zucchini tastes like it’s cooked in bacon lard. So good. And the sauce is spicy mayo. Lasagna bolognese. Made with béchamel sauce. So yum! Octopus with potato on a bed of arugula. So tender and juicy.
Wonderful Aglianico by-the-glass pairs beautifully with the al la norma pasta dishes. Wine list is well-curated & affordable. Plentiful & comfortable outdoor seating & a cozy, intimate, candle-lit indoor dining room. The food was delicious and the service was warm and attentive. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood! It’s lovely
3.5 stars. This place is extremely small inside. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for dinner, but maybe drinks. The food was overall pretty much ok. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great either with the exception of the stuffed eggplant appetizer. That was very good! The arancini appetizer, chicken parm, linguini with clams, rigatoni with 4 cheeses were just fair. The portions here are very small. Decent place overall, but not good enough for me to come again.
