Brown & Butter Creamery has some of the best gelato I’ve had in the area. One piece of constructive feedback relates to the owner’s interactions with customers. Over several visits, I noticed instances where customers of color greeted her and received little or no response, while white customers were met with noticeably warmer and more engaged conversation shortly afterward. I didn’t think much of it at first, but after hearing others share similar observations, it became difficult to ignore.
Had this place saved on my “want to go” and so happy I finally did! The service was really great. They had a Cape Verdean flavor which made so excited and it was so delicious. Also the vegan flavors were delicious as well. Two scoops were about six dollars, which is a really great price!
This is a grate ice cream place. Staff is very nice and they like to help you find out new flavors that would make you reconsider from 1 scoop to 3 scoops. All of the flavors that they have is very tasty that you will come back for more. Love the location and they are kid friendly that will also joke around with them.
