Casual, quick-bite Chinese restaurant dishing up noodle soups, rice noodles, and other comfort fare.
From Google Maps reviews.
Chinese noodle place along 2nd Ave in the UES. Prices are not bad given in Manhattan. Decent taste, actually great bang for your buck. Space is tight, 3 tables and a couple of bar / counter seating. Good for 2 people max. Most people buy to go or pick ups. They also have the choice of Egg noodle vs Rice noodle. I prefer Egg noodle over their rice noodle. Overall, reasonably priced noodle soup in the UES. Tight space, as they only have 3 tables.
I was super excited to try this place given the excellent reviews. Perhaps I came on an off day... The flavors were good but the portions were not as desired. The noodles had a good texture but there was so little protein for a $14 bowl (dry mixed beef rice noodle). Perhaps this is the way it is now. But I was hoping for more.
It is a small shop but so cozy like having food at grandma’s home. The beef noodle soup is flavorful and hearty. The chicken fried rice also tastes like home-made. Highly recommend this place if you just want a quick home-made food.
