Had a Dr appointment on 72st needed to kill some time so I googled a place to eat...and saw Cafe Luka. I enjoyed my breakfast and was very happy with my decision to eat here. Good meal, clean and very friendly atmosphere. It's a good place to go if you're in the area.
Stopped by for breakfast when visiting a family member at the hospital nearby. Food was good. The little salsa-ish spicy green sauce was our favorite addition to everything. Owner (likely) came out to chat with us warmly. Nice neighborhood vibe. Price is a bit steep, which is a norm for NYC.
We Stopped in for breakfast recently as we were in the neighborhood. Have not been there in a long time. We ordered eggs with sausage and pancakes with Canadian bacon. Waiter Edwardo was super friendly and very efficient. Food came out pretty quick. Someone came by often to refill our coffee cups. I must say for a diner, the food was cooked just right. Very tasty. The owner brothers were extremely friendly to everyone. A great morning experience. We will definitely try to come more often. BTW
