Went 9:30pm on summer night. Despite it being near closing they let me in. They have an intriguing front wall, almost like a garage door, that opens and closes on demand. It was open when I arrived, and I sat right near the edge between the inside and outside, which provided a really nice atmosphere for my meal. There was a good amount of crispy bread and eggplant sauce before the meal. I ordered a fried calzone with sausage because I asked the waiter whether it or the pizza rolls had more food.
I had a good experience at Campania Coal-Fired Pizza. I tried the grilled calamari, which was a bit on the chewy side, but the fried artichoke hearts were very good and I would definitely recommend them. The food overall is pretty good, though not perfect. What really stands out is the service - the staff and bartenders are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is also nice. While there's room for improvement with some dishes, it's worth visiting for the quality service and decent food.
I had such an incredible time eating here. The pizza was cooked perfectly in the coal oven, giving it that amazing smoky crust that I just love. Everything tasted so fresh, and the service was super friendly and fast. I honestly cannot wait to come back again soon because it was easily one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
