Stopped into Carlow East around 3 PM and had a great experience. The bartender was fantastic friendly, attentive, and had a great personality that made the visit enjoyable. Service was prompt, and they made sure everything was taken care of without being overbearing. The beer was cold, poured perfectly, and exactly what you want when stopping in for a drink. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent service will definitely keep me coming back whenever I'm in the area.
I tried their Moscow mule, worth the vibe! They also have pool in their place and great music. Overall ambience is warm and best spot yo hangout on a date night or friends hangout!
Perfect place to have a drink before diving into MET or just relax after visiting everything around 90th Street. Can't comment on food (didn't notice a kitchen) but drinks are perfect & won't break a bank, especially for rail cocktails. Under $10 per drink - really good for NYC. Recommend: gin-tonic & gin Rickey.
