The ice cream tastes good, so no complaints there—it definitely hits the spot if you’re craving something sweet. However, I was honestly surprised by the price. A small cup ended up being around $5, which felt a bit expensive for the portion size. They do have a variety of options, but I wish there were more flavors available or a bit more selection to choose from. Overall, it’s a nice place for ice cream, but the pricing and limited flavor variety make it feel a little less worth it.
I’m not a big fan of ice cream but I had a craving for vanilla Ice cream one day and the other night was a birthday cake for my boyfriend. The scooped ice cream was so good but they put a bit too much of the caramel topping that it just became a caramel mess. My boyfriend loved his Oreo cookie sundae dasher as always! The cake was pretty good and the cashier who helped us did a great job with making the Y like in the New York Yankees. She practiced on a paper and then did a great job on the cake
I go here almost every Wednesday to buy the buy one get one free classic sundaes for my family. The staff is very nice and patient. The store is clean and the waiting time is not long. I recommend this Carvel's.
