Took my pregnant wife on a walk to get her ice cream that she was looking forward to all day. Only to find that the store was closed with keys in the door at 9:25 PM , 35 mins before the store was due to close. We tried getting the attention of the workers inside but we were constantly ignored. Stay away from this weird location , you’re better off going to the one on 86th street
They do not except American Express credit cards which I find ridiculous and which resulted in a star being deducted from their rating. Their ice cream was tasty and offered in several flavors, but not as rich and flavorful as other ice cream places with higher calories and fat. Consequently Carvel is reserved for those unfortunately not so rare occasions when I’m just too full to eat but still insist on ice cream. Everytime i go to this carvel it always happens to be closed. A HALF HOUR BEFORE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CLOSED. personally i find this extremely upsetting considering i spent my time walking there for it to be closed! anyways i love carvel
