I was looking for takeout and wanted something different, so I decided to try this place and ordered the steak and fried pork. The presentation looked cleaner than many similar spots—no dark, dried meat, which I appreciated. That said, the seasoning was a bit light and the pork could have been crispier. The beans were quite good, though. I’d be open to coming back to try something else on the menu.
My family and I had an amazing experience at Casa Paisa on December 26, 2025. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and comfortable. It truly felt like a place that cares about its guests. I just came back from Casa Paisa in Whitestone, Queens, with my sister, and we had an incredible dinner. We both had the half chicken with rice, beans, and sweet plantains—it was truly amazing. I tried the mango water drink, super refreshing, and for dessert, the flan was delicious. We’re thrilled to have found this gem so close to home. If you’re picky like me, trust me—these beans and that flavorful rice (with carrots and peas) will win you over. Go try it!
