Honestly, the place surprised me. I'd never heard of this food place before, but the sandwich was quite good, as was the size. The service from the staff was friendly and quick. The fries were also good. Overall, if you're looking for some quick, reasonably priced food, I think this could be a good place.
I went for the chicken Philly, and it was… fine. The bread was soft and slightly toasted, chicken was flavorful enough, and everything was hot and fresh — all the basic boxes checked. It’s a solid bite when you’re hungry, but not exactly something I’ll be craving later or bragging about to friends. Charley’s is consistent, decent value, and fills the void, but it’s not the “best cheesesteak in the world” they claim. If you go in expecting something quick and satisfying rather than life-changing
2nd review. Ok I ordered again and it was amazing as always and this time i took a few pictures and video. 1st review smelled so good I forgot to take a photo.
