Charlie's Bar + Kitchen is a beautiful restaurant with a western menu. They offer an array of handcrafted cocktails in a rustic yet contemporary setting with eclectic art pieces. Overall, the service and food is good. It's a great edition to The Bronx and what the eating scene has to offer. Check their website or socials for happy hours and live performances. It's a great spot for a Saturday with a small group of friends in the mood for comfort food and fun.
I have to say I really had a great time here and enjoyed the drinks, meal and the crew that was on. A pleasant surprise in the South Bronx ; nice, chill vibe on a Friday afternoon. The decor and ambiance is perfect with the wall of Charles/ Charlie’s as a nice touch. We ordered the wings (Sweet Chili), Charlie’s Fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and they were delicious! Compliments to the chefs (Jose & Saviour)! Charlies is always outstanding. The food is beyond delicious, especially the truffle Mac & cheese and lemon pepper wings. Stephen was an amazing server. He went above & beyond. This is our place to go.
