★★★★★ After finishing a pretty tough three-hour moving job in Manhattan, I was walking back to my truck around 2:30 PM when I spotted Chelsea Papaya and decided to stop in because I had a serious craving for hot dogs. I'm glad I did. For just over $15, I got two hot dogs, french fries, and a nice-sized drink, which I thought was a great value considering the location in Manhattan. With an appetite on the search for a corndog, we avoided the questionable city food trucks and google searched the closest one; Chelsea Papaya turned up. The corndog as seen in the photo, was crunchy, great balance of mustard, ketchup, cornbread and overall ✨amazing✨ soo if you’re particularly looking for a cornbread, check the place out. Staff was nice. will come back
Not sure why this place doesn’t have higher reviews. The hotdogs, smash burger and mango juice were amazing. The staff were super nice as well. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for the classic NYC hot dog experience that’s not a hotdog stand.
