A taste of authentic Bangkok in the heart of Astoria. Had the fried chicken curry plate where the aromatic rice was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. We also had the spicy Tom yum chicken soup.. it was like a hug for the soul. Along with the Som Tum pla ra (papaya salat with anchovies 🥰) Just what we needed after walking around Astoria. Was craving some Hainan Chicken rice so came here for it. For the price, they gave me so much chicken which I always appreciate. The food was delicious too. Definitely recommend!
So I 'Chicked it out'. Honest opinion. Not impressed. Passed by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try. Was craving a chicken dinner. Went in around 830pm, they close at 930pm. Did not think that would be an issue. I ordered the fried chicken cutlet over rice it looked good from another reviewers post. After ordering the lady in the kitchen said something in another language to the lady taking our order. Then we hear from the lady taking our ordee that it will be about 15 /
