Chicken Insider is the best place for a real taste. As a Korean, I can say the real authentic one. The chicken was insanely crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside — exactly the texture we expect from real Korean fried chicken. The sauce had that perfect sweet-spicy kick that keeps you reaching for the next piece without even thinking. The price is super affordable. Given that the place is located on Upper East Side, i believe the owner is super is nice and generous. It’s genuinely
I stopped by Chicken Insider and the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning wasn’t too heavy, so it was easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. Portions were just right good for eating solo or sharing a few items with friends. The staff were friendly, and ordering was smooth, plus the place felt clean and comfortable. Overall, a solid spot I’d recommend if you’re craving good fried chicken.
I dislike free items for reviews big time. You enter a place that’s rated 4.6 and while it is good food, it ain’t 4.6/5 stars. Loved the fries, super fresh, perfect consistency, but could have had a tad more seasoning. The chicken Sandwhich was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken needs more brining and flavour, the salsa was nice but it felt too little. Portion/price was on the smaller end imo.
