My relatives treated us to a banquet at China Fun Restaurant, which specializes in Fuzhouese cuisine. The restaurant is cozy, with a few private banquet rooms downstairs that can seat up to 15 people. There's free parking in the back. We had a feast: oyster and tofu soup, assorted cold appetizers, lobster, crab legs, clams, snails, fried fish, steamed fish, crab meat fried rice, rice cakes, and snow pea leaves. The food itself wasn’t bad — it actually tasted pretty decent. However, the overall experience was very disappointing because the service attitude was extremely, extremely poor. The staff were rude and made us feel disrespected. I don’t think the owner would intend for customers to be treated this way, so this seems like an issue with the employees. Also, since we are younger, it felt like we were being taken advantage of. The staff kept pushing and pressuring us to order more expensive dishes,
I’ve been here several times before and it was always pretty good, but my most recent visit was really disappointing. Some dishes were way too sour, while others were overly salty. It honestly felt like they weren’t putting any care into the food.
