The staff was super friendly, though the shop is a bit small with limited tables. We ordered the matcha shaved ice, which was really good, and the Mochi Red Bean Taiyaki, which was incredibly good and the highlight of our visit! Unfortunately, the mango shaved ice was a bit of a letdown because the mango pieces were very sour and under-ripe. Despite the sour fruit, we’d definitely come back for the taiyaki and matcha treats!
Honestly need to explore this area of flushing more. Stopped by this dessert shop and fell in love with their desserts. The mango bingsoo was so refreshing with fresh pieces of mango. The mochi redbean taiyaki was sticky but delicious. This place accommodates big and small groups but it's first come first serve for the tables. Definitely stop by!
I ordered the mango shaved ice with condensed milk and mochi. It was pretty solid overall. The mango wasn’t ripe enough, but I get it, it’s probably not in season. I also tried the sweet potato taiyaki. It was decent, but I wish the texture was lighter and fluffier. The presentation could be better too. Instead of a square with a fish stamped inside, it would’ve been nicer if it actually held the classic fish shape. Overall, it’s a bit pricey for something that feels pretty average.
