I recently had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant regarding a purchase and the handling of my payment. On Tuesday, I purchased a mangu and paid with a $100 bill. Definitely a take out buffet place more than a restaurant. Ambience is zero actually BUT the people are sweet, service is better than most real restaurants, and the food is on point. Delicious!! Just like in the name. You gonna have to brush up on your Spanish to get the most out of this hidden gem. I will be back. I wish they would have more seafood options tho. Pricing is good too.
Its more of a takeout place than a sit down. I just dont get why the woman behind the counter serves me the way she does. I used to eat here all the time, the food is decent but for some reason one day I got mostly bones, no meat. I still tried again, all bones no meat. I had to ask for different pieces. She was picking up whole pieces of chicken with meat but then gave me smaller pieces without it. The restaurant has changed names so I decided to try again and again the lady did the same thing.
