Typical Chinatown restaurant! The atmosphere was as expected like a busy train station. The service was pleasant and very fast. The food was tasty especially the chicken walnut. The prices are very reasonable. Cash only.
A no-frills Chinatown classic with fluorescent lighting and tight seating, but the food more than makes up for it. This place has a reputation for soup dumplings and it's well earned, just note that they aren't labeled as such on the menu. Look for items #1 and #2 at the top of the menu and order both. The fried buns are excellent, and the scallion pancakes which are deep fried to a golden crisp are a must. They pair particularly well with the ginger cucumber. Portions are generous, so three to
Sat down and you need to order 4 dishes to stay at a table. Best scallion pancake I’ve ever had. We also got dumplings which were pretty bland, but the hot spicy wonton with peanut sauce were fire. Bao buns were ok! Very affordable overall.
