Margherita pizza pie was delicious. And the French fries here are *honestly* the best fries I've ever had, I think! They are the perfect thickness and you can actually taste the potato. None of that too skinny or too crunchy thing! Service was excellent. My only gripe was that it was such a long wait for 2 people (well, 1 adult and 1 baby needing a high chair). Of course, I did come on a Friday evening, but I definitely did not expect that loooong wait time.
Denino’s is one of those places you instantly understand why people keep coming back to. The service here is incredibly fast. The team works so smoothly that your table never has a single dirty plate sitting for long — everything gets cleared right away without you even noticing. What impressed me the most was the speed of the kitchen. The wings came out hot but not burning, perfectly ready to eat — and while we were still eating them, the pizza was already on the table. Simply put, the trip to Staten Island is worth it for Denino’s. The regular cheese pie alone is outstanding. Perfect crust with that slight crisp underneath, great char on the bubbles, fresh mozzarella, balanced sauce, and just the right amount of basil. It’s simple, but when it’s done this well, that’s all you need. The vodka pie was unreal. The sauce is creamy, rich, and packed with flavor without feeling heavy. It coats the mozzarella perfectly and the crust still holds up slice after slice
