Desi Galli is one of those rare spots in New York that instantly transports you. Best Indian food in NYC!!!!!! The service is quick, warm, and delightfully unpretentious exactly what you want from a casual spot that knows its food speaks for itself. The Kathi rolls are an absolute standout: tender, flavorful, perfectly spiced, and wrapped in soft paratha that melts in your mouth. when you’re not sure what you’re craving, just get food from here. it’ll heal you. the chicken korma kathi roll was juicy and flavorful. compact and a perfect bite every time. chicken bihari curry leaned a bit sweet but super hearty. service was great. cute space to dine in downstairs
Loved everything we ate! Lots of vegetarian options. Cute seating area downstairs. Yellow daal was flavorful. Salad was fresh. Chili paneer was tasty but didn’t need to be deep fried in my opinion. They even brought us a free dessert which was delicious :)
