We arrived at the restaurant a bit late on a Thursday night, just after 9:40 pm, but they still graciously accommodated us. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Recently tried Dilli Dilli, located right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan near Times Square. It’s a cute little spot, perfect for date nights, with Indian-inspired decor and vibrant green plants that give it a warm, cozy vibe. The food was actually really good — full of authentic New Delhi–style street food flavors, exactly what you’d expect when you visit an Indian restaurant in the middle of Manhattan. What we ordered: Starters: • Dilli Dilli Tikki • Koyla Chicken • Gilafi Paneer Mocktai
Great Indian food, you won’t be disappointed but also won’t be pleasantly surprised! 1. Had high hopes with Dal Maurya for its 36 hr cooking session but felt like its was just butter and butter. Dish felt more of a butter which had Dal in it and less of a dal which had little butter to enhance its taste! Wouldn’t recommend going with high hopes!! 2. Ambience is great, they play great bollywood remix songs. It’s definitely fun to dine here. Although tables are way too close, which isn’t unique
