Doner Haus in Astoria is a great halal spot that definitely exceeded expectations. This place used to be good when it first opened. It still tastes good. However, they’ve hired some careless folks in the last couple of months who can’t follow instructions. In the last couple of months, on at least half a dozen occasions, they’ve put sauce on the food, when the instructions say “NO SAUCE” . Usually, it’s through Uber Eats, and I get a refund processed.
