We were walking down First Ave one day and decided to pickup a couple of dishes to take home for a late lunch. It is a narrow restaurant with a few tables in the front. There are two self check-in computers on the right but we ordered directly from the staff lady. We ordered off the special lunch menu. Will order again for take out. Not suitable for us to be eating in.
I politely asked the cashier if she could sweep up noodles on the floor so my 3 friends and I could sit because the only other open table was pressed against the trash can. Instead of cleaning up a mess in a restaurant as workers should, she told me to sit at the other table. When I told her I’m not comfortable with that, she said “he’s downstairs.” There was no one else in line and was not busy at all and she continued to stay silent.
