FINALLY! A place with seasoning and spices!! Loved the welcoming staff!! My first time trying Nigerian food, and I’m hooked!! The Jolof rice is OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS! The grilled chicken perfectly seasoned and juicy.. the sautéed spinach was nice and seasoned! I cleaned my plate.. that usually doesn’t happen. I will be back to try everything on the menu!!!
Dùndú is a 20 minute walk my office in midtown and it’s winter and I hate the cold but the thought of their delicious super comforting jollof rice with goat stew is enough to make me put on my heavy black coat and my hood and schlep all the way to 41st St. to get my fix. I like to pick up two or three bowls at a time so that I can have my tasty lunch for the week. so happy to have this oasis of yummy flavorful GOOD Nigerian food to save me from the expensive and bland sad desk salads of Midtown
We were very excited to try Nigerian that was so close to Grand Central. We went there a bit early. Goat stew was not yet ready. But, the person at the front and was quite friendly and explained everything. I got the chicken dish with sweet plantains, spinach and such. My friend got Acara, which seemed quite good. I am not an expert in Nigerian food, but I thought the spinach and sides and the chicken itself could use more spices. It could me taste buds, but it was a bit on the bland side. T
