All-day diner delivering a lengthy lineup of casual staples in a bright, booth-lined space.

We first came here as we wound our way for an afternoon at The Frick. Of all the places we've had breakfast/brunch in NYC, this place has the best eggs. There was taste in every bite of my omelet and my partner's over easy was perfect. A week later we are here again as we head to the Cooper Hewitt. When we walked our server not only remembered us and where we sat but also what we ordered. We had only been here once before and a week earlier. Most impressed. Looking for a quick bite before hittin
I’ve eaten here a few times over the last 20 years and had mixed results regarding my meal. Sometimes is was good and other times mediocre. I believe it matters what you order and when. I don’t recommend order breakfast items late in the day. Sandwiches are good and French fries were tasty. Quiet atmosphere and I’ve never found it to be crowded when I’ve gone. Good selection of things to eat and service is good. There’s outdoor seating available.
If you’re looking for a spot that isn’t fussy, serves solid food, and delivers genuinely great customer service—EAT HERE NOW. No need to overthink it. It’s got that quintessential NYC diner vibe: comfortable, unpretentious, and exactly what you want when you’re craving a straightforward, satisfying meal without all the extras. Sometimes simple done right is everything—and this place gets it.
