Happy Cinco De Mayo! Felt it was fitting to do a review for today in a Latin American restaurant and I chose one that is only 2 minutes away from the Retro Fitness gym I go to and conveniently across the street from the M&R train station headed to Forest Hills. Not a grievance in anyway but it has to be known. The place has seating but it's relatively small, probably the smallest Latin restaurant I've been in but I'll give it credit for having available seating because I've seen bigger places t
"This place is an absolute hidden gem for authentic Latin American comfort food. The home-cooked flavors here are exceptional. I ordered the beef stew with rice, beans, and sweet plantains, and everything was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful. The portions are massive for what you pay, and the empanadas are perfectly crispy and cheap. It is a cozy, bustling little storefront with incredibly friendly service—highly recommend for a quick, hearty bite!"
The service was great. I had a hard time finding it because they changed the awning to a brown one now. It’s a small hole in the wall. There’s absolutely no parking. The juices were good. So was the food.
