I used to go here in 2021-2022 with my now husband and the service was excellent, the food was ok, and the atmosphere was great. I went back and I was shocked at the lack of attention, speed of service and the quality of the food and music. The music was all Colombian…. a little too much. This restaurant is suppose to be authentic mexican and the music was 80% Jessie Uribe. The waiters focus on the bar instead of the people who want to order food. Greate place. The food is so delicious! The waitress was super kind and gave us greate service. The music was great for the restaurant ambiance. Will be coming back. I do not understand all the bad reviews to be honest.
We went around 4-5 pm with my mom and brother with his girlfriend. We waited a large amount of time for mediocre food. Granted the waitress was nice but it was not acceptable to wait like 45 minutes for over priced food. The waitress then asked if we wanted salsa and they gave us a scant amount of what felt like hardly seasoned salsas. They do make a banging mojito. Earlier evening service is meh.
