The pizza here is very good and flavorful. But beware it is slightly oily but despite that the flavor makes up for it.
I've tried this spot since high school and throughout the years, it's stayed fresh, consistent and delicious. There's a generous amount of toppings and cheese that does not feel super greasy or heavy. The crust + dough itself was on the thinner side resulting in a satisfying crunch and you bite into each slice. I do wish it had just a tad bit more marinara sauce. Elmhurst Famous Pizza just earned a spot in my pizza rotation! Ordered their Famous Special for takeout and the wait was right around 10-15 minutes. This pie is seriously good while it's hot - the combo of green peppers, onions, pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms is on point. Definitely can see myself swinging by here every once in a while to grab a pizza for dinner. On to the next pizza place! 🍕
