I've noticed that I strongly prefer baked empanadas over fried empanadas. Baked empanadas feel so much lighter, fluffier, and enjoyable to me over the fried counterpart. Also each of the empanadas were at least $5 each so be mindful of that To start, the guava and cheese empanada was by far the best one and my favorite. It's slightly sweet and the cheese is firm, almost like the cheese on a room temp pizza - my favorite! For an empanada - 9/10, would get this consistently if I'm getting empanad
The crust on these are absolutely bombastic so insanely crispy you may as well put a picture of these empanadas in the dictionary under the word crispy. The Desayuno Colombiano was super delicious, although couldve had a bit more meat I think like two of my bites had any. The Bombay had much more meat but flavor was not as on point. Red salsa was decently spicy but Green salsa was pure magic.
No bathroom but they have seating and a good breakfast & lunch combo. I got the jerk & cheese (jerk chicken and Swiss cheese) & their new El Efe (slow cooked birria beef, sweet roasted corn and peppers, Oaxaca cheese and cilantro and lime rice) with beans and rice (choice between pinto & black beans and yellow or white rice)
