Had the best empanadas ever from this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The space is very cute and the food was so amazing. The music was great too. I had a guava con queso and a mechada platano yesterday queso blanco. Everything was so delicious. I will be back for more. I love Venezuela 🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪
Just had a serious Venezuelan feast at Empanadas Mix 🇻🇪 and I’m still recovering like a champ. 💪 Walked in hungry… walked out questioning my life choices (in the best way). The Pepito Mix sandwich loaded with beef and chicken was basically a heavyweight champion between two pieces of bread. Then came the arepas—thick fried cornmeal shells stuffed with carne asada, pork belly, sweet plantains, special sauce, and a mountain of shredded queso. That’s not a snack… that’s a strategy for survival.
Loved this place! Great food, great service, great music, and a very cheerful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it, and whenever I return to visit New York City, I plan to stop by again on my way to the airport before heading back home.
