Famous Original Ray’s Pizza was the perfect late-night stop after midnight. Even at that hour, the pizza was still hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff was kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We even ended up having a pleasant conversation with another patron who was eating there, adding to the friendly atmosphere. Fantastic, friendly service. Pizza was near perfect, so much so, that we went back at dinner after we had had lunch there. The pizza bases were so phenomenal a d the tomato sauce was perfection personified. Tried various toppings - cheese, pepperoni and Italian sausage. All were great. Highly recommended. For me, this is the best pizza I've had in Manhattan.
