I ordered a pan of oxtails, yams, and macaroni and cheese for a BBQ for July 4th and when I tell you EVERYONE LOVED IT! People kept asking if there were more oxtails!! The oxtails literally were falling off the bone! I have never in my life had food that was so delicious!!! I can’t wait to cater my next event with Father & son Soul food! Door Dash order: As a professional chef, please change the oil. Mmhh cabbage needs work no offense i understand people have different recipes but that needs a little work. Way too much rosemary in the mash. Everyone has their own way style, jus to much rosemary & not enough creaminess like your typical soul food flavors. Real wholesome. Chicken would’ve been great minus the old oil .
Uber eats order: Mac and cheese and collard greens was good but the turkey wings were dry and the gravy was bland. It needed a lot more seasoning. The tea was super sweet, the absolute worse part of my meal was the PEACH COBBLER DO NOT BUY. It was water with peaches in it, the consistency was not cobbler, super soggy look at picture.
