Purchased around $50 We ate some Didn’t suspect any molds or rotten things But the slices bread 🍞 had a strange type of fungus/mold It is black small round stuff I have seen greenish and bluish but this is something strange that has come out in this form Be aware of these people Where they bake their food must be checked Actually all food suppliers must display their back kitchen, pantry and food preparation equipment and space We have to be able to see what they do behind the food presented to
Elmhurst and Jackson Heights are known for their many bakeries from different parts of the world. If you lived in the area stretching back 25+ years, these Asian bakeries have been an essential part of your daily morning routine (coffees and bread 🙌). You can never go wrong by popping in and grabbing something that you know was freshly baked, on the run—like what I just did. Let’s not forget to recognize the always friendly staff.
Look, I’ve never experienced something this crazy at a bakery before. As I was about to walk into the store, there was a man standing at the door refusing to let customers enter unless they gave him cash. He was yelling at the workers, getting very close to customers — especially females — and asking them for money while they were trying to pay. The workers repeatedly told him to leave, but he refused. My main concern is: where was the owner during all of this? Everyone in the store looked scar
