After a great lunch at Maxi nearby, we stopped for coffee and pastry. Very busy with mostly take out customers. Limited seating inside so we were lucky to find a seat. Very good pastry.
Tried the Mango Smoothie from here and it was so good. I felt like it tasted very authentic and no added sugars (or at least not a crazy amount lol). This was a size Medium and it was so worth! It was $6.75 for a Medium. I also bought a cheesecake for $3.25, allowing me to hit their $10 minimum for card. Cute area inside, and it was quick service. I would buy from here again if I was in the area.
Good, but not great. Fay da has quite a bit to offer in variety but the quality is not quite what I remember in the past. I purchased a few taro buns and they were each very poorly filled, and I felt I was mostly just eating plain bread. They do have taro mochi which is good but also not particularly well filled. While prices are cheap, there's better value at other bakeries in the neighborhood. The inside of the bakery has a few tables where you can sit, which is really nice.
