My friends and I stopped by Filipiniana Restaurant and Catering recently, drawn in by the promise of some of our favorite Filipino street food. Context: I am half Filipina and tall (so don't always read as Filipina) and I brought my white male friend with me. We were in Queens for some errands a couple weeks ago so I wanted to support a Filipino restaurant and was craving some crispy sisig for lunch. I ordered the sisig, he got the pork lumpia. Always order take out from here so finally had to sit in. So glad I did! They have more dishes that cannot be ordered online. Enjoyed the Daingsilog and beef stew with some pineapple juice.
