I’ve been going to Harlem Fitness Factory for a while now, and I will say—it’s definitely gotten better. The staff is cool, and overall the vibe has improved, which I respect. That said, there are still a few things that need attention. Cleanliness in the mornings could be stepped up. There shouldn’t be tissues lying around in the locker room or left on machines first thing in the day. Also, the wipe stations need to be refilled more consistently—especially during peak hours. An amazing gym in the heart of Harlem. Not sure how I missed it after living here so long. It’s definitely new. From the equipment to the staff to the patrons, everyone here is friendly, clean and respectful. They have a smoothie bar at the front and I’ve tried like three flavors and all have been great. Highly recommend the coffee caffeinator with almond milk. The gym is never overly packed but it is also very big and never any lack of equipment at all times.
It's a great gym that is spacious and fully equipped. 4 platforms/squat racks is a rarity in commercial gyms. The stretching area on the upper floor has a small section for introverts (such as myself) that want to do their thing and not be in the center of the floor. They have 3 floors total, but have an elevator for when you don't feel like walking up and down the stairs.
