No-frills eatery offering a mix of Jamaican fare & soul food, plus smoothies, juice & espresso.
From Google Maps reviews.
I ordered the Mac and cheese with oxtail and a beef patty. Mac cheese was like a block and felt like they reheated food from the night before. Oxtails was all fat. The beef patty is not made in house. They buy them in bulk frozen and sell it. You can get those beef patties from the grocery store. This is not authentic Jamaican food. It honestly did not taste good. The restaurant is cute though.
My food was packaged to the top. Everything was great. The steak was tender and juicy. No fat on the meat. Rice was great and seasoned. The flavors was immaculate and the cabbage had the perfect crunch! I will be a returning customer.
Literally the best carribean soul food in the Bronx. Staff is lovely, they make you feel like family. Worth every penny and some! Please Open back up! 🙏🏾
