what a wonderful little cafe in Bed-Stuy serving tasty treats and delicious coffee. The Latte and Cafe de Ola are top notch. Also enjoyed the breakfast Tladuyita. The place has a bit of Mexico vibe which is really nice to experience in the midst of diasporic Brooklyn.
Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast. Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. This is hands down my favorite neighborhood spot. Everything I’ve tried has been consistently delicious, but their tortillas truly stand out. The birria & consomé tacos are my top pick, though the mushroom tacos and flautas encabronadas are also a must-try. Pair your meal with a nixtarita, or go for the horchata if you’re skipping alcohol — you can’t go wrong either way.
