I have been to Fornino twice so far this summer, once when it first opened and again last Wednesday. It is one of my favorite outdoor spots. We were seated immediately by a smiling host. The service was attentive throughout the evening. We shared the arancini, which is a must-have, along with
Wow is all I can say about this place! The view is only eclipsed by the food and service! Their open kitchen is spotless! The food and drink selection is the best of the best! If you are in Brooklyn Fornino Pier 6 is a must go, must eat, must repeat. And if you are looking for a workout they have beach volleyball right next to the outside dining option!!!! Just go and see it for yourself! You will thank me.
Here’s a cleaner, more balanced review that still makes your frustration clear: Stopped by Courtside for pizza with my son after playtime at Pier 6, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. We waited over 30 minutes for a single pizza, which is especially challenging when you have a toddler in tow. Given that this is a family-oriented spot next to the playground, I expected quicker service. I ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza, and it was nowhere near worth the $26 price
