We tried the Flushing location and liked it and was very disappointed at the Bayside location. First the popcorn chicken looks and tasted like it was fried several times/greasy and not fresh, so is the beancurd. There were no chopsticks for me and took the server more than 5 minutes to grab me a pair while they were not busy (only 2 tables). Great food but so-so service. We liked the chunky beef in the Beef Noodle soup; the fried pork chop over rice was delicious; popcorn chicken was decent. We'll come back for the food if we're in the area but just hope service would be better next time.
First tried their Flushing branch and was very impressed, very happy to now be able to go to this one on Bell. Same high quality, always tolerant of our noodle garborating toddler is definitely a plus as well. Pictured here is mixed rice but braised beef noodle soup is their signature dish. Has other taiwanese restaurant usual options (pork knuckles, popcorn chicken, gua bao, etc) that they do well, and also does a tasty dan dan mian
