Longtime eatery serving Italian fare, including a long list of pizzas, in straightforward surrounds.
From Google Maps reviews.
I would definitely eat here again. I was craving veal parm. They serve it with linguine, Italian sauce, warm bread. It was nice and soft and the server very pleasant. It was around 1pm and people started coming in. Seems they had been there before. Cozy setting.
This is my favorite local slice. The sauce is zesty and garlicky and the crust is doughy (positive)! Most other places, the crust is bready and I skip it. Here, I eat it and love. Fyi this is the same Frank's that used to be on 23rd by SVA, two iterations before (most recently) Luigi's. Loved it then, love it now. Recognized it by the sauce!!
Family owned neighborhood restaurant for many years. Real old-school feel. I love that classic New York experience. Great neighborhood place.
