Great produce, variety & quality! Some of my favorite here were: the curried cauliflower rice, seafood, the raspberry & almond tart and, tobiko caviar, the hard corn tortillas, the vegetable dumplings, the pappardelle mushroom herb cream sauce, to name a few. Delivery from here would usually run smoothly.
After years as a customer, I unfortunately have no choice but to cancel my membership. FreshDirect has recently been delivering my orders via random people without FreshDirect uniforms in unmarked cars, rather than by a refrigerated FreshDirect truck. Not only do I then have to discard all the frozen items, which have defrosted by the time they get to me, but I don’t feel comfortable receiving fresh food, often not in sealed containers, from a third party person who I’m not sure is even a FreshD
Fresh Direct debacle today makes me question if their customer service is taking a turn for the worse. My order was scheduled for delivery between 10am and 12pm, then I got a message saying it would be up to 2 hours late - no problem there. But, at 2pm, still no groceries and no more proactive communications from Fresh Direct. Instead, I have reached out to them 3 more times only to be given a new ETA each time.
